From a Mat'ls Eng. Grad student and Guitar enthusiast:
I wanted to commend you on the Electric Guitar seminar yesterday. It was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!! It was BY FAR the best seminar I have ever attended.
Thank you so much.

From a grad student in Mechanical Engineering:
Thanks for putting together that "lecutre" on the electric guitar. It was outstanding. A wonderful break from our normal routine!!!

From a Physics professor:
Fantastic lecture/performance yesterday. Thanks so much for putting this together. My colleagues and I had a great time and learned a few things as well.
I was curious about something. Tom mentioned that Fender blew off the notion of complicated, resonating guitar bodies and just went with a solid piece. However, Gibson's guitars (including the one Larry Coryell played) don't always seem to be solid body. Is this just for effect, or does resonance play some part in the design?
Thanks again.

From a lot of people in the School of Management:
The fifty-plus group sitting up in the higher seats in DCC 308 yesterday grinning broadly was our small group from the School of Management.
I just wanted to thank you for such a great program.
I later told my wife and (guitar-playing) HS son that they missed the event of the year. It was the only RPI program I have attended in 14 years where I wanted to sit and listen all night.

From a grad student in Physics:
I really enjoyed the talk on monday. The guitarists were excelent. I wish they played longer.

From a professor in ECSE:
Even just the small last part I saw/heard of the seminar on Monday was truly outstanding. A great experience.
