The analyzer was tested by using Pierce & Extractor gun only, as suggested by Demers.

1. Dynamic range of the analyzer

The analyzer detector layout is shown as below: (If seen from the backside)

The ion beam energy = 10keV

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

50% on T1, 50% on T3, Va=2.865kV

50% on C1, 50% on C3, Va=3.375kV

50% on B1, 50% on B3, Va=4.105kV

50% on T1, 50% lost above T1, Va=2.735kV

50% on T3, 50% lost between T3 & C1, Va=3.025kV

50% on C, 50% lost between T3 & C1, Va=3.2kV

50% on C3, 50% lost between C3 & B1, Va=3.59kV

50% on B1, 50% lost between C3 & B1, Va=3.82kV

50% on B3, 50% lost below B3, Va=4.41kV
