Shutdown Procedure:

1. Set HIGH VOLTAGE CONTROL to zero on the High Voltage Power Supply.
2. Set all control console switches to their respective OFF positions.
3. Leave the pulser case freon pressure at 30 psig.
4. Bleed the air pressure down to 30 psig. If the system is to remain inactive for a length of time, turn off compressed air supply completely at the cylinder to conserve gas.
5. Move the drain valve lever on the pulser carriage to the OPEN position (parallel to the front of the pulser carriage) to allow transformer oil to gravity feed back into the pulser carriage reservoir. Monitor the sight gauges on the pulser body in order to ascertain when the oil has fully drained back into the reservoir.
